We are looking for winds that are 8 mph or less on the surface and less than 20 mph aloft (generally above 100 ft), clear visibility and a good wind direction are vital to a safe flight. Passenger safety is our prime consideration - so if conditions do force a cancellation we will rearrange your trip for the next mutually convenient date. We always obtain the latest weather forecasts before making a decision to fly. You will need to allow at least 3-4 hours for the whole experience.īallooning is very weather dependent. We do guarantee to get you up in a hot air balloon. We try our best to keep the flights as close to an hour as possible, however, due to the technical nature of this flying area we cannot guarantee flight time, direction or altitude. The flight will last approximately from 30 minutes to hour, this all depends on the wind and weather that morning. You will receive a special briefing by your Pilot-In-Command.
